Our campsite offers a spacious, tree-lined setting where nature and city life come together. Shady trees, lush greenery, birdsong and a charming little stream with a bridge create a special atmosphere for your stay.
At our campsite, you can choose the pitch that suits you best. Whether you prefer a sunny or shady spot, grass or gravel, a pitch close to the sanitary facilities or a quieter, more secluded area, you are free to choose your own spot for most of the year. You can also stay close to your friends. Make yourself comfortable wherever you feel most at home and enjoy the freedom of camping in Budapest.
Sanitary blocks
At our campsite, the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene are essential. That is why our sanitary facilities are continuously maintained and thoroughly cleaned several times a day.
In recent years, we have made significant improvements: a new, luxury-standard sanitary block has been built at the rear of the campsite, while the existing facilities have been modernized. Thanks to the increased capacity, our guests can enjoy comfortable access to showers and toilets, even during busy periods, without long waiting times.
Electricity
The campsite's electrical network is brand new, strong and stable.
We guarantee a minimum of 16 Amps electrical energy for all our guests.

Check in - check out
At the campsite our guests have the opportunity to choose the late check-out service free of charge. They can stay at the campsite until 3 pm on the day of departure.
No matter how late you arrive, you can be sure we will welcome you. If you arrive between 11 pm and 7 am, please choose a spot of your preference, our night shift colleague will help you to assist with that. Registration is open from 7 am.
So there is no checkin time limit, you can arrive at the campsite anytime.
Dining
Central European University (CEU) is located next to the campsite. The canteen of the university is open every day of the year and our guests can eat there at a discounted rate. You can have a full breakfast, or a three course lunch / dinner for about € 8. This is not a trendy fine-dining restaurant, but the food is delicious, the portions are big and the prices are friendly.

Modern, covered kitchens
Our campsite offers two modern, covered and fully equipped kitchen areas, comfortably heated during the winter months. For convenient meal preparation and washing up, guests have access to refrigerators, microwaves, sinks and drinking water. Everything you need to prepare your meals comfortably, all year round!
Sport
For guests who enjoy staying active, we offer an outdoor fitness park with bodyweight exercise equipment and table tennis tables right on the campsite. All these facilities are free of charge for our guests. The campsite’s peaceful residential surroundings are also ideal for relaxing walks. Nearby, you will find a children’s playground and the Tarka-Barka Riding School, offering another enjoyable activity during your stay. Please book your riding session in advance.

The campsite has all the facilities you might need to make yourself comfortable.
Within walking distance you will find a restaurant, a canteen, supermarkets (SPAR, ALDI), a bakery, fruit and vegetable shop, a 24-hour shop, a drug store, a shopping mall, tobacco shop, fressnapf, pharmacy, post office and gas station.

Dining
Right next to the campsite, you’ll find the Central European University (CEU), which has a student cafeteria open every day of the year. Campsite guests can enjoy meals here at discounted prices. For approximately €12, you can have a full breakfast, a three-course lunch or dinner. It may not be a fancy fine-dining restaurant, but the food is tasty, the portions are generous and the prices are friendly.
Also located right next to the campsite is Sport Café, where you can enjoy quality coffee, premium teas, refreshing craft beverages, beers, wines and cocktails, along with delicious bistro dishes and light snacks. Guests may also be able to watch sports matches on a big screen. Please contact the café directly for details about match screenings.
Location
The area
The Camping is located in the center of Budapest, yet in a quiet, peaceful suburban setting. It is a green oasis in Budapest with shady trees and rich vegetation. A stream flows across the campsite. You will hear birds chirping as you drink your morning coffee.
Public transport
You can reach the metro from the campsite on foot (15 minutes) or by bus (2-3 minutes). The bus stop is located 200 meters away from the campsite (3 minutes walk). The bus runs approximately every 5 minutes.
By the M2 (red) metro line which runs close to the campsite you can easily explore Budapest. In 7 minutes (6 stops) it will take you to the Basilica and to the center of nightlife, in 8 minutes (7 stops) you reach the Parliament and in 10-12 minutes (8 stops) you are at Buda Castle.
The metro runs every 2-3 minutes.

Staying at the campsite for children under the age of 4 is free of charge.
We accept only cash at the campsite. Accommodation fee can be paid either in HUF or EUR.
Unfortunately we cannot accept credit cards. However, there are several ATM's in the immediate vicinity of the campsite.

Frequently Asked Questions
How can I get from the Camping to the sights of Budapest?
The M2 (red) metro line is very close to the campsite. Using that it takes 6-8 stops to get to the sights. This takes about 7-12 minutes. The metro runs every 2-3 minutes.

Is it required to make a reservation in advance?
The area of the campsite is widespread, so reservations are only required between July 20th and August 20th.
Other times of the year you may arrive without reservation, we will definitely be able to give you a spot.
